Do you want to have a great work-life balance with a friendly and enthusiastic team in a picturesque setting?
We’re looking for someone who wants to embrace first opinion practice – a dedicated veterinary receptionist who enjoys being part of a local, thriving community. Ideally you will already know the role well so you can get going from day one.
The Role:
- Salary to be discussed depending on experience
- Full-time between the hours of 8.30am – 6.30pm, Monday to Friday
- 38hrs/week but open to discussion on working patterns for the right person
- No weekends
- No OOH
- We close EVERYDAY for lunch – how civilised!
About us:
We are a highly respected, RCVS accredited practice that has been providing outstanding, compassionate care to local pets across Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Oxfordshire since 1903.
Our main practice is in the small market town of Lechlade, on the southern edge of the Cotswolds. Surrounded by peaceful countryside walks, we offer a relaxed working environment where the focus is on client care and having an enjoyable workplace.
We have a sister practice, Archway Veterinary Surgery, in Highworth just down the road with whom we share our workload, so some working across both of the sites may be required, though you will mainly be based at Lechlade.
We know that great team members make for a great practice and offer a nurturing environment where our team can pursue their interests and develop their knowledge and skills. We are part of Vet Partners, who offer regular client care events for networking and career progression, so future growth can be what you want to make of it. We want every single member of the team to enjoy their role and be proud to be a part of The Bridge family.
The Area:
Bridge Vets is situated in beautiful Lechlade on Thames, doorstep to the Cotswolds. There are lots of independent shops, cafes and pubs plus great walks in the stunning surrounding countryside. The Cotswold Water Park is on our doorstep too with plenty of opportunity to get involved with a variety of water sports.
We have great transport links to Oxford, Swindon, Cirencester, Bath, Bristol, and London. So, there is plenty to do and see in your downtime!
Our fantastic range of benefits includes (pro rata):
- 6 weeks paid holiday including bank holidays (pro-rata)
- Westfield Health Plan – wide ranging contributions for health and wellbeing treatments – from dentistry to sports massage
- Enhanced paternity, maternity, adoption, shared parental leave and surrogacy pay
