Kate Tyson
Veterinary Surgeon – Clinical Lead
Kate qualified from the University of Bristol in 2007 and promptly joined The Bridge Veterinary Clinic as a mixed vet. Kate enjoys the wide variety that life in practice provides, and her favourite role is small animal surgery. Outside of work Kate is a mum to three children she enjoys reading , baking and running.

Jane Emmerson
Veterinary Surgeon – Clinical Lead
Jane qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 2010 and started at The Bridge Veterinary Clinic as a new graduate. Jane first worked as a mixed vet and more recently as a 100% small animal vet. She has a keen interest in cardiology and internal medicine. Outside of work she is a keen baker, beekeeper and mum to three lively young boys.

Robin Knight-Davis
Veterinary Surgeon
BVSc MRCVSRobin joined the practice recently after graduating from Bristol in 2022 and is originally from South Wales. They enjoy all aspects of mixed practice but have a particular love of cats and tortoises. They sadly don’t have any pets at the moment, but imagine it won’t be long! They are excited to take advantage of local kayaking, bird watching and nature opportunities.

Emma Bartlett
Practice Manager
RVN CertEdEmma worked at Oxford University and in a training and animal welfare role before joining the Bridge team in 2016. She has a passion for dog behaviour and training, and shares her home with three dogs. In her spare time, she enjoys walking and training her dogs and going stand up paddle boarding.

Carra Outram
Head Veterinary Nurse
RVNCarra joined us as a student in 2016 and qualified in 2018. She really enjoys the clinical aspects of her role and is a clinical coach for our student nurses, mentoring and supporting them through their training. When she’s not working, she can be found training with her local netball team, walking, travelling or looking after her five dogs, two cats and a tortoise!

Sasha Pawlowska
Registered Veterinary Nurse
RVNSasha joined us in 2019 as a student veterinary nurse, after time spent working as an animal care assistant at an emergency clinic and passed her final exams in December 2022. She enjoys working as part of our team and is keen to develop her surgical nursing skills. Outside of work, she loves seeing live music, spending time with her family and looking after her miniature dachshund, whippet and cat.

Abby Francis
Student Veterinary Nurse
After qualifying as a veterinary care assistant, Abby joined our practice in 2021 to begin her student veterinary nurse training. She enjoys learning the theory and getting the chance to put it into practice! She has a Staffordshire bull terrier called Rory who she loves taking for walks, and is an avid reader in her spare time.

Amber Titchener
Student Veterinary Nurse
Amber joined the practice full time in June 2023. After starting as a receptionist, Amber is now attending college as a Student Veterinary Nurse and she will be working closely with our Vets and RVNs to complete her training. Out of work Amber likes walking her dog, spending time with her family and travelling.

Amelie Whitehead
Receptionist
Amelie joined the practice in June 2024 as our receptionist. Amelie has a background of working in the equestrian world and out of works enjoys eventing her horse, shopping, walking her dog and spending time with her friends.
